Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Jungli Chicken Recipe

  • Boneless chicken Breast boiled and cut into cubes 1

  • Green capsicum 1 medium

  • Cabbage grated 1/4 small

  • Onion chopped 1 small

  • Mayonnaise 1/4 cup

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Salt to taste

  • White pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Cheese grated 1/2 cup

  • Butter 4 tablespoons

  • Bread 8 slices

  • Lettuce leaves shredded 1/2 bunch


Step 1

Mix chicken and all the vegetables (except lettuce) with mayonnaise, green chillies and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper powder. Mix in grated cheese. Butter the bread slices.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Place half of the shredded lettuce on four of the buttered bread slices, spread chicken and vegetable mixture evenly on the bread.

Step 3

Place the remaining lettuce and cover with the remaining buttered slices. Slightly press the sandwich. Trim the edges, using a sharp knife and cut diagonally before serving.
