Ingredients list for Honey Cherry Energy Bars

  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup Cherries
  • 3 tablespoons Desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 6 Dates pitted
  • 1/4 cup Oats toasted
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Method

  1. Blend together honey, cherries, coconut, almonds and dates at high speed, stirring in between if necessary. Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
  2. Add oats and lemon juice and mix well. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish. Put the mixture into it, keep a piece of plastic over the top to prevent sticking and level the surface. Refrigerate for two hours. Cut into bars and serve.
