Ingredients list for Honey Cherry Energy Bars
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Cherries
- 3 tablespoons Desiccated coconut
- 1 cup Almonds
- 6 Dates pitted
- 1/4 cup Oats toasted
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
Method
- Blend together honey, cherries, coconut, almonds and dates at high speed, stirring in between if necessary. Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
- Add oats and lemon juice and mix well. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish. Put the mixture into it, keep a piece of plastic over the top to prevent sticking and level the surface. Refrigerate for two hours. Cut into bars and serve.
