Wash, peel, core and cut into half inch sized cubes. Wash cherries and keep aside. Combine all fruits and refrigerate until the serving time. Destalk and wash raisins, finely chop cashewnuts. In a bowl combine yogurt, sugar, saffron and whisk until sugar is completely dissolved. Just before serving time mix in fruits and serve chilled garnished with raisins and cashewnuts.
