Ingredients for Earl Grey Cookies Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup

  • Baking powder ¼ teaspoon

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ cup

  • Oil ½ cup

  • Milk 1 tablespoon

  • earl grey tea powder 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Sieve flour into a bowl. Add baking powder, castor sugar and mix. Add oil and mix well.

Step 2

Add earl grey tea powder and mix. Add milk and mix again into a dough.

Step 3

Place the dough on the worktop and shape into a cylinder. Roll it in butter paper and seal the edges tightly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 180ºC.

Step 5

Remove from the refrigerator and discard the butter paper. Cut the cylinder into roundels and place on a baking tray.

Step 6

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 7

Serve or store in an air-tight container.
