By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 May 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless Mutton, Yogurt Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 1.30-2 hour Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Dumwala Gosht 900 grams Boneless Mutton 1 inch cubes 6 tablespoons Yogurt 2 large Onions chopped 6 cloves Garlic chopped 1/2 teaspoon Dry ginger powder (soonth) 2 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1 1/4 cups Yogurt whisked Method Apply salt to the mutton cubes and keep aside. Heat oil in a thick-bottomed vessel and sauté the mutton pieces till well browned all round. Drain and keep aside. Add onions and garlic to the remaining hot oil and sauté till golden brown. Add browned meat, ginger powder, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper powder. Mix well and stir for two to three minutes. Add yogurt and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and seal the lid with dough. Lower the heat and simmer for about an hour or till the meat is well done and tender. Serve hot.
