Ingredients list for Corn And Cheese Balls

  • 1 1/2 cups Sweet corn kernels boiled
  • 2 cups Processed cheese grated
  • 2 medium Potatoes boiled and grated
  • 1 inch piece Ginger chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Mash the corn slightly. Place in a deep bowl and mix in cheese, potatoes, ginger, chillies, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, cornflour and maida.
  2. Shape into small bite sized balls and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
