Ingredients for Cinnamon Apple Cake Recipe

  • Refined flour (maida) 175 grams

  • Cinnamon powder 2 teaspoons

  • Apples peeled 3

  • Eggs 5

  • Sugar 250 grams

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Butter melted 250 millilitres

  • Bread crumbs dry 4 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the eggs with two hundred grams of sugar until thick and pale. Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix into the beaten eggs along with the melted butter and blend well. Grease a cake tin and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs, then pour in the above mixture into it.

Step 2

Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon powder. Dip the apples in this mixture and arrange them on the cake batter. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180°C for thirty minutes.

Step 3

It is ready when a skewer inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove the cake from the tin, cut into slices and serve hot.
