Chocolate Frappe

Ingredients

    • 1 cup fresh cream
    • 1½ cup dark chocolate, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder
    • 4 cups vanilla ice-cream
    • 1½ cup milk 
    • Whipped cream for garnish 
    • Chocolate vermicelli for garnish 
    • Roasted coffee beans for garnish

    Method 

    1. Heat cream in a non-stick pan till luke-warm. Pour the cream over the chopped chocolate. Mix till melts well and becomes smooth. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
    2. Mix coffee powder with 4 tbsps hot water and make a decoction. 
    3. Add the prepared chocolate truffle in the blender along with vanilla ice-cream, milk and coffee decoction. 
    4. Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate vermicelli and roasted coffee beans.
