Ingredients list for Chocolate Fingers
- 100 grams Chocolate
- Strawberry
- 20-25 Strawberries
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
- 20-25 grams Butter
- 1 Vanilla sponge cake
- 4-5 tablespoons Desiccated coconut
Method
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
- Hull strawberries and purée them. Transfer the purée into a non-stick pan, add sugar and cook.
- Trim the crust of the vanilla sponge cake and cut into fingers.
- Transfer the strawberry sauce into a bowl. Dip the sponge fingers in strawberry sauce, ensuring that they are well coated with the sauce and arrange them on a plate.
- When chocolate melts, add butter and whisk well.
- Spread desiccated coconut on another plate, roll the strawberry fingers so that they are well coated with the coconut.
- Then coat them with chocolate.
- Cool and serve.
