Ingredients list for Chingri Pakora

  • 400 grams Shrimps
  • 2 medium Refined Flour
  • a few Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2-3 Green chillies
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
  • to deep fry Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste

Method

  1. Clean and wash the shrimps. Pat them dry. Peel, wash and chop onions. Clean, wash and chop coriander leaves.
  2. Remove stems, wash and chop green chillies. Beat egg, add flour and one teaspoon of oil.
  3. Add the shelled shrimps, soy sauce, ginger paste, chopped onions, coriander leaves and green chillies.
  4. Mix well. Shape into balls or flat cutlets. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the cutlets till golden brown. Drain onto an absorbent paper.
  5. Serve as a snack or as a side dish with lunch.
