How to make Cheesy Garlic Bombs -

Ever wondered why the phrase “say cheese” is used just before a photograph is clicked? Simply because ‘cheese’ makes one smile! Not only the word but cheese as a food makes a lot of palates happy. It is an inexpensive, versatile and nourishing food. We have our very own Indian version as well as the ones made from soy milk that are even healthier. Whichever form, this is one food that is loved by one and all!

Ingredients for Cheesy Garlic Bombs Recipe

  • Mozzarella cheese cut, medium cubes 150 grams

  • Garlic chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Bread dough as required

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Red chilli flakes 1½ teaspoons

  • Parsley chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Butter 1 tablespoon + for greasing

Method

Step 1

Dust worktop with some flour. Place the dough and stretch well. Add 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and parsley and knead.

Step 2

Divide the dough into equal portions. Make cavity in each portion, place a cheese cube, seal and shape into balls.

Step 3

Dust the baking tray with flour, place the balls, cover with damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Preheat oven to 180º C.

Step 5

Combine butter and garlic in a microwave proof bowl and mix. Add remaining chilli flakes and mix well.Place the bowl in the microwave and heat for 1 minute.

Step 6

Brush the proven balls with butter-garlic mixture. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and brush some butter on top.

Step 7

Serve hot.
