Ingredients for Cheese Crostini - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Brie cheese 1 block

  • Rusks 8

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Green garlic finely chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Button mushrooms finely chopped 8-10

  • Walnuts chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh thyme 1 pinch

  • Balsamic vinegar 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh parsley chopped to garnish


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180º C. Slice cheese thickly.

Step 2

Place rusks on a baking tray. Keep a cheese slice on each of them and sprinkle crushed peppercorns.

Step 3

Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add green garlic and onions and sauté till onions turn translucent.

Step 5

Add mushrooms, walnuts, salt and thyme, mix and cook for a minute. Add balsamic vinegar, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Step 6

Top the rusks with a spoonful of mushroom mixture, garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
