Ingredients for Chaap Fry Recipe

  • Mutton chops 1/2 kilogram

  • Green chutney 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

  • Egg 4

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Bread crumbs 1 cup

  • Oil to deep fry


Step 1

Clean and wash the mutton chops. Flatten them with the side of a knife. Pressure cook chops with green chutney, salt, turmeric powder and 1 cup of water.

Step 2

When cooked, remove and sprinkle with garam masala and lemon juice. Beat the egg with red chilli powder, salt and a tablespoon of water.

Step 3

Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the chops in the egg batter, roll in the bread crumb and then deep fry.
