Ingredients list for Boondi Trifle Custard
- 4 Boondi Laddoos
- 3 tablespoons Vanilla custard powder
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 tin Mixed fruit cocktail
- ½ eight inch Sponge cake
- 4 teaspoons Sugar syrup
- 6 tablespoons Rabdi
- 4 Fresh mint leaves
Method
- Put custard powder in a bowl, add milk and whisk till smooth. Pour into a non-stick pan and cook, stirring continuously, on medium heat till thick. Switch off heat, transfer into a bowl. Add fruit cocktail along with the syrup and mix well.
- Put one boondi laddoo in each for 4 serving glass cups and crumble them. Break the cake into small pieces and put over the laddoos.
- Drizzle 1 tsp sugar syrup over the cake pieces. Top with the custard-fruits mixture.
- Finally put 1½ tbsps. rabdi over the custard mixture in each cup.
- Garnish with a fresh mint leaf and serve.
