Ingredients list for Blondies

  • 200 grams White chocolate
  • 2 cups Refined flour (maida)
  • for greasing Butter 1¼ cups +
  • 1½ cups Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • ½ cup Cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan and add butter.
  3. Put sugar into a large bowl, add melted butter and whisk continuously.
  4. Break eggs into a bowl and whisk lightly. Add eggs to the butter-sugar mixture and continue to whisk. Add vanilla essence and mix.
  5. Sift the refined flour and baking powder into the bowl with egg-sugar mixture and fold in lightly.
  6. Chop chocolate and add to the batter along with dried cranberries and mix well.
  7. Line the baking tin with the butter paper and grease lightly with butter. Transfer the batter into the baking tin and bake in the preheated oven for thirty five to forty minutes.
  8. Allow to cool down to the room temperature.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.
