Ingredients list for Black Bean Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons black Beans
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable Stock
  • 3/4 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/2 inch piece ginger, roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Method

  1. Mix cornflour in a little vegetable stock and set aside. Mix black beans, ginger, garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, salt, pepper powder, sugar and remaining stock and blend in a mixer.
  2. Transfer into a pan, add the cornflour mixture and mix well. Simmer until thick.
