By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Bhajanee chakli flour, Oil Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for BHAJANEE CHAKLI 500 grams Bhajanee chakli flour to deep fry Oil for greasing + 1 tablespoons White sesame seeds to taste Salt 2-3 tablespoons Oil , hot Method Take bhajanee chakli flour in a large parat. Add white sesame seeds and salt. Make a well in the centre and add the hot oil and mix well. Add 1¼ cups water in batches and knead into a semi-soft dough. Divide the dough into equal portions. Grease a chakli press with some oil. Put a portion of the dough inside the chakli press till it is ¾ filled. Cover it with the lid. Press out chaklis on to a plastic sheet. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Gently slide in the chaklis a few at a time and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. Allow the chaklis to cool completely.
