By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Whole wheat flour (atta), Ghee Cuisine Punjabi Course Mithais Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Atte ka Halwa 1 cup Whole wheat flour (atta) 1 cup Ghee 1 tablespoon Semolina 1 cup Sugar 2 tablespoons Mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts) finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add wheat flour, mix and saute for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add semolina, mix and cook till dark golden brown, stirring continuously. Add sugar, mix and cook till it melts and mixture thickens slightly. Add 4 cups hot water, mix and cook till the mixture thickens, stirring occasionally. Add mixed nuts and cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
