Ingredients list for Apple Muffins
- 2 Apple diced
- 2 cups Refined Flour
- 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 Eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup Butter melted
- 2 tablespoons Almonds blanched and slivered
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180°C/350°F. Grease the muffin moulds.
- Sift the flour along with sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Combine milk, eggs and butter and beat lightly.
- Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix. Add the diced apples and mix gently.
- Pour this mixture into muffin moulds. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for twenty five to thirty minutes or till golden brown.
- Demould and serve.
