Ingredients for Aamras - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Mallika mangoes medium ripe 4

  • Green cardamom 20-25

  • Sugar 1/2 tablespoon

  • Nutmeg powder oinch of

  • Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Put green cardamoms in a blender jar, add sugar and blend to a fine powder. Sieve the powder through a fine strainer. Store it in an airtight container and use as required.

Step 2

Press the mangoes from all sides to loosen the pulp. Remove the eye of each mango and squeeze out the pulp into a large bowl. Squeeze the mangoes to extract all the pulp, discard the seed and the skin. Mash the pulp with your hand.

Step 3

Add nutmeg powder, ½ tsp of the ground green cardamom powder and powdered sugar and mix well.

Step 4

Transfer into serving bowls and serve with hot puris.
