Ingredients
- 1½ cups cashewnuts
- ½ tablespoon oil
- Sea salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon honey
- Toasted bread slices to serve
Method
- Preheat oven to 100º C.
- Arrange cashewnuts on a baking tray. Place the tray in the preheated oven and roast for 10 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and transfer into a blender jar. Blend to a coarse powder. Scrape the sides of the blender jar, add oil, sea salt and honey and blend till smooth.
- Transfer the cashew butter into a bowl. Serve with toasted bread slices or as required.
