Ingredients
- 8-10 black grapes
- 2 lemons
- Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
- 6-8 fresh mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons sugar syrup (1 part water mixed with 1 part sugar)
- Crushed ice as required
- Drinking soda as required
Method
- Halve the black grapes. Thinly slice ½ lemon and cut the remaining into quarters.
- To make the garnish, make a small slit on one lemon slice and fold it into a cone. Thread a black grape half into a toothpick, skewer the lemon cone and thread another black grape half. Place a mint sprig in the lemon cone.
- To make the mojito, put the lemon quarters into a serving glass. Add the remaining halved black grapes, 7-8 mint leaves and muddle them with a muddler. Add sugar syrup and crushed ice and mix. Top up with drinking soda. Garnish with the prepared garnish and serve immediately.
