Ingredients list for Wonton Cups-Cook Smart
- 8 Wonton sheets
- 2 Spring onion bulbs
- 150 grams Cottage cheese (paneer)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Sweet red chilli sauce
- 2 teaspoons Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- to taste Salt
- 1 1.2 teaspoons Sesame oil
- a few threads Fresh coriander sprigs
- 1/2 teaspo for garnish Black sesame seeds toasted
- for sprayi Olive oil
- 4 Chives
Method
- Heat a Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT).
- Roughly chop spring onion bulbs. Cut cottage cheese into small cubes.
- Mix together red chilli sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Finely chop coriander sprigs and add to the bowl, mix well.
- Add chopped spring onion bulbs and cottage cheese cubes and mix well. Add sesame seeds and mix well.
- Spray olive oil into aluminium muffin moulds, place the wonton sheets in them and press so that they stick. Spray some more olive oil on top.
- Put prepared moulds in the Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT), cover and cook till the wonton cups turn golden and crisp.
- Chop chives.
- Remove the moulds from the Gas Oven Tandoor (GOT), demould and cool the cups.
- Place the cups on a serving platter. Spoon in the cottage cheese mixture into them, garnish with chopped chives and sesame seeds and serve immediately.
