Ingredients list for Wholewheat and oats cookies
- 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cup Dessicated Coconut
- a few drops Vanilla essence
- 1/2 Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/4 cup Oats
- 3 tablespoons Desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup Mixed fruits crushed
- 1 tablespoon Honey optional
Method
- Preheat the oven at 160°C. Cream and butter until frothy.
- Add vanilla essence and mix well. Sieve flour and baking powder and set aside.
- Add oats, desiccated coconut, mixed fruits ad honey to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Add flour and fold in lightly. Grease a baking tray. Divide the mixture into small balls.
- Place the balls in the tray leaving some space in them and bake in the prehaeted oven for fifteen to twenty minutes or till golden brown.
- Remove and cool them. Store them in airtight containers.
