By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Wheat Germ, Milk Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Wheat Germ Kheer 1 cup Wheat Germ crushed 2 tablespoons Milk 1 tablespoon Raisins 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 2 1/2 cups Milk 1 cups Jaggery (gur) grated Method Heat ghee in a deep pan, add wheat germ and sauté till a nice aroma is given out. Add raisins and chopped cashewnuts and sauté for two minutes. Add milk and cook till the wheat germs are cooked and the kheer thickened. Add green cardamom powder, mix and take off the heat. Add grated jaggery and mix till it dissolves. The jaggery should not be added while on heat because it may cause the milk to curdle.
