Ingredients list for Wheat Germ Kheer
- 1 cup Wheat Germ crushed
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 2 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 cups Jaggery (gur) grated
Method
- Heat ghee in a deep pan, add wheat germ and sauté till a nice aroma is given out.
- Add raisins and chopped cashewnuts and sauté for two minutes. Add milk and cook till the wheat germs are cooked and the kheer thickened.
- Add green cardamom powder, mix and take off the heat. Add grated jaggery and mix till it dissolves.
- The jaggery should not be added while on heat because it may cause the milk to curdle. Serve hot or warm.
