Ingredients list for Vrindavan Peda

  • 1 3/4 cups Mawa
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar powdered
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • a pinch Nutmeg grated

Method

  1. Combine brown sugar and honey with khoya and ghee, mix well and then cook over medium heat until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add milk in a slow trickle, stirring continuously and cook till all the milk is absorbed.
  3. Remove from heat, add green cardamom powder, nutmeg and mix well. Divide mixture into small portions and shape into round flat pedhas. Leave aside to cool thoroughly before serving.
