Ingredients list for Vrindavan Peda
- 1 3/4 cups Mawa
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar powdered
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a pinch Nutmeg grated
Method
- Combine brown sugar and honey with khoya and ghee, mix well and then cook over medium heat until the mixture is smooth.
- Add milk in a slow trickle, stirring continuously and cook till all the milk is absorbed.
- Remove from heat, add green cardamom powder, nutmeg and mix well. Divide mixture into small portions and shape into round flat pedhas. Leave aside to cool thoroughly before serving.
