Ingredients list for Veg Vadas
- 1/2 kilogram Split Bengal gram (chana dal) soaked
- 125 grams Khatta Leaves
- 125 grams String beans (chavli)
- 8 Green chillies
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to deep fry Oil
Method
- Grind together chana dal with ambat chuka, chawli, green chillies, salt, sugar, lemon juice and red chilli powder to a coarse paste
- Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai. Make vadas of the batter and deep fry them till golden brown in color.
- Drain on absorbent paper.Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
