Ingredients list for Turkish Lentil Rice
- 2 cups Parboiled rice wash and wiped
- 1/2 cup Lentils
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- to taste Salt
Method
- Pressure cook the lentils for four whistles or till get soft and get mashed.
- Heat butter in a non stick pan, add risoni and fry them till brown in color. Add the parboiled rice and saute for two minutes.
- Transfer the rice along with boiled lentils in a pressure cooker. Add salt and sufficient water.
- Cook till three whistles. Serve hot.
