Ingredients list for Tomato Cheese Sandwich
- 8 slices Tomatoes
- 4 medium Cream Cheese sliced thickly
- 1/2 cup Cream cheese
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
- 8-10 Basil leaves shredded
- 1 teaspoon Olive oil
Method
- Marinate tomato slices with the salt, crushed peppercorns, basil leaves and olive oil for ten to fifteen minutes.
- Apply two tablespoons of cream cheese on each of four bread slices and spread the marinated tomato mixture evenly over that. Cover with remaining four slices.
- Cut into fingers and serve.
