Ingredients
- 200 grams tofu (bean curd) , grated
- 200 grams cottage cheese (paneer) , grated
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 medium onion , finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 medium tomato , fienly chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Fresh coriander sprig to garnish
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté till onion turns a light golden
- Add tomato, mix and sauté till soft. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder, mix and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add 3-4 tablespoons water, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add cottage cheese and tofu, mix and cook for 1 minute.
- Add salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
