Sweet Mango Pickle Mango pieces mixed with pickle masala, tempered with mustard seeds and finished with sugar syrup By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Ripe Mango, Sugar Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sweet Mango Pickle 2 kilogram Ripe Mango peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes 2 teaspoons Sugar as required Pickle masala 1 tablespoon Oil 2 teaspoons Mustard seeds 1 1/2 kilogram Sugar Method In a large bowl mix together mangoes with salt and pickle masala and set aside for two hours. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and saute till it splutters. Remove and set aside to cool.Add it to the the mango and mix well. Cover it and set aside. Heat sugar with two and half cups water in a deep non-stick pan and cook till the syrup thickens. Remove and allow to cool. Add it to the mango mixture and mix well.
