Ingredients list for Strawberry Syllabub with Red Wine
- 8-10 Strawberries hulled and cut into small pieces
- ½ cup Red wine
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1½ cups Whipped cream
- for garnishing Fresh mint sprigs
Method
- Take strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar and wine, mix, cover with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Take yogurt in another bowl. Add whipped cream gradually and fold in well.
- Blend the strawberry-wine mixture with a hand blender to make smooth mixture.
- Take ¾ yogurt mixture in another bowl. Add ¾ of strawberry-wine mixture and fold well.
- Fill a piping bag fitted with a small star nozzle with strawberry-cream mixture.
- Put yogurt mixture in individual serving glasses filling ¾ of it. Pipe out some strawberry-cream mixture and pour some strawberry-wine mixture on top. Repeat the process till all the ingredients are used up.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and serve immediately.
