Spiced Plantain Chips

Ingredients 

  • 2 large plantains
  • Oil to deep fry 
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • Hot chilli sauce to serve

Method

  1. Thinly slice the plantains using a slicer. Heat sufficient oil in a pan and deep-fry the plantain slices till golden.
  2. Drain and place on an absorbent paper.
  3. Mix red chilli powder with cinnamon powder and sprinkle over the plantain chips. Serve hot with hot chilli sauce.
