By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Oct 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Soya granules , Green peas Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Soya Keema Matar 1 cup Soya granules 1 cup Green peas 1 1/2 cups Skimmed milk 2 tablespoons Oil 2 medium Onions chopped 8 cloves Garlic chopped 1 inch Ginger grated 2 Green chillies chopped 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 3/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Method Soak the soya granules in milk for an hour. Heat a pan, add oil and add onions. Sauté till lightly browned. Add garlic and cook for a minute. Add ginger, green chillies, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and two tablespoons of water. Stir and cook for two minutes. Add peas and one-fourth cup of water and mix well. Cover and cook till peas are nearly done. Add soya granules along with the milk and cook till almost dry. Add coriander leaves, salt, garam masala powder and lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot.
