Ingredients
- 300 grams boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 teaspoons fennel powder
- 1 tablespoon hung yogurt
- 2 teaspoons roasted gram flour
- 1 tablespoon coriander-mint paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1½ teaspoons green-chilli paste
- 2 teaspoonsmustard oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- Refined oil for greasing
- Butter for basting
- Onion rings, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for garnish
- Green chutney, for serving
Method
- Preheat the air fryer at 200˚C.
- Mix together chicken, hung yogurt, fennel powder, coriander-mint paste, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, green-chilli paste, mustard oil, salt, mayonnaise in a bowl. Set aside for 15minutes.
- Grease the air fryer basket with oil; arrange the marinated chicken pieces on it, air fry for 15minutes.
- Remove the cooked chicken pieces from the air fryer, baste with butter.
- Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedge. Serve hot with green chutney.
