Ingredients list for Savoury Biscuit and Paneer Canapes
- 16 Salted cracker biscuits
- 150 grams Cottage cheese
- 1 tablespo teaspoon Oil
- to taste Salt
- 4 teaspoon pesto sauce for topping
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 16 teaspoons cream cheese
Method
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick grill pan.
- Cut cottage cheese into thick slices. Add salt, pesto sauce, crushed peppercorns and 1 tsp oil and rub the slices well.
- Cut 16 small roundels from cottage cheese slices using a small cookie cutter.
- Place cottage cheese roundels on the pan and grill, flipping, for 2 minutes on each side or till grill marks appear on them.
- Quarter cherry tomatoes.
- Apply 1 tsp cream cheese on each cracker biscuit. Place a grilled cottage cheese roundel on each and top with a cherry tomato quarter, little pesto sauce and crushed peppercorns.
- Serve immediately.
