Ingredients list for Saeb aur Badam ka Halwa

  • 4 Apples (saeb) peeled and grated
  • 1/2 cup Khoya / Mawa grated
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup Almonds blanched peeled and ground
  • Slivered almonds Few blanched peeled for garnishing

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ground almonds and sauté for 10 minutes or till lightly browned.
  2. Add grated apples and cook on low heat stirring continuously.
  3. Add sugar and green cardamom powder and cook till sugar dissolves.
  4. Add khoya and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with almond slivers and serve.
