Ingredients list for Rice In Matka
- 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice, soaked
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 Fresh red chilli, sliced
- 7-8 Fresh button mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 3 cups Vegetable stock infused for 15 mins with 4 inch lemon grass
- to taste Salt
Method
- Preheat oven at 180 °C. Take a matka, place it over heat.
- Add oil, sauté red chilli slices. Add mushrooms and turmeric powder.
- Drain rice and add it to the matka and sauté.Add vegetable stock and salt. Stir.
- Take the matka off the heat. Seal lid with atta.
- Place in hot oven and cook for 15 minutes. Remove seal when ready to serve.
