Ingredients list for Red Velvet Chocolate Cookies-SK Khazana
- 1 tablespoon Red liquid food colour
- 1/2 cup Chocolate hazelnut spread
- 2 cups Refined flour (maida)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar
- 1 cup Melted butter
- 2 tablespoons Sour cream
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
Method
- Fill a piping bag with chocolate-hazelnut spread and pipe out small portions on a butter paper. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Add butter and red food colour and beat well with a hand blender. Add sour cream, egg and egg yolk and fold in well into a cookie dough.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well. Transfer the prepared dough in a zip lock bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180˚C.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, stuff each with the chilled chocolate portions, shape into balls and place on a baking tray.
- Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
- Serve with milk.
