By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jun 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Puffed ramdana (rajgira), Milk Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Rajgira Kheer 1 cup Puffed ramdana (rajgira) 5 cups Milk 2-3 Green cardamoms 1/2 cup Sugar 3 tablespoons Pure ghee 10-12 Almonds blanched and slivered 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg powde Method Bring milk to a boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for half an hour stirring continuously. Grind green cardamoms in a mixer with sugar to a fine powder. Take a pan, heat ghee, add rajgira and fry on low heat till it is roasted slightly. Add reduced milk to it and bring it to boil. Reduce heat and continue cooking for five minutes. Add mixture of sugar and cardamom and simmer for another five minutes. Add almond slivers and nutmeg powder and stir. Remove from heat and serve hot.
