Ingredients
- ¾ cup ragi flour
- ½ cup jaggery powder
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup butter
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 1-2 tablespoon chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Mix together ragi flour, cocoa powder and baking soda in a bowl.
- Cream together butter and jaggery powder in another bowl till soft and creamy. Add the flour mixture and fold in. Add milk and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into small equal portions, shape them into balls and flatten them a little. Arrange them on the tray keeping them 1 inch apart. Place the chocolate chips on top.
- Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
