Ingredients list for Pumpkin and Pineapple Crumble
- 500 grams Pumpkin peeled, sliced and blanched in cinnamon water
- 1 cup Pineapple chopped
- ¼ cup Whole wheat flour (atta) roasted
- 1 cup Rolled oats roasted
- a pinch Cinnamon powder
- 2-3 tablespoons Honey
- 10-15 Almonds roasted and chopped
- ½ cup Pumpkin seeds
- ? cup Chilled butter
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Mix together pumpkin, pineapple, cinnamon powder and honey in a bowl.
- Mix together wheat flour, oats, almonds and pumpkin seeds in another bowl. Add butter and mix till the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly in a casserole and top with the oats mixture. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve warm.
