Ingredients for Pumpkin Pudding Recipe

  • Red Pumpkin 1 cm cubes 700 grams

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups

  • Cornflour/ corn starch 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Milk 1 1/2 cups

  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tablespoon

  • Hazelnuts roasted and crushed 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons

  • Desiccated coconut 1 tablespoon

  • Pomegranate pearls 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Place pumpkin pieces in a large pan. Add sugar and one cup of water.

Step 2

Cover and cook on medium heat for about twenty five to thirty minutes. Mix cornflour with milk till smooth.

Step 3

Once the pumpkin is cooked add the cornflour-milk mixture and mix. Cook till the mixture thickens. Sprinkle cinnamon powder. Add half cup of crushed hazelnuts, desiccated coconut and mix.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture into a serving dish.

Step 5

Sprinkle remaining hazelnuts and pomegranate pearls and serve.
