Ingredients for Potato Wedges Mildly Spiced Recipe

  • Potatoes 8 medium

  • Oil 1 tablespoon + for greasing

  • Onion roughly chopped 1 small

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Black peppercorns 6-8

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 180ºC.

Step 2

Grind together onion, sea salt, roasted cumin powder, black peppercorns and lemon juice. Apply this ground paste and oil to potato wedges.

Step 3

Grease a baking tray and place potato wedges on it.

Step 4

Bake the potatoes for ten to fifteen minutes at 180ºC.

Step 5

Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
