Ingredients list for Potato Wafers
- 4 medium Potatoes peeled
- to deep fry Oil
- + for sprinkling Salt to taste
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Using a slicer, thinly slice 2 potatoes directly into hot oil.
- Deep-fry basket-shaped potato slices in hot oil till crisp and lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Mix ¼ cup water and salt to taste in a bowl. Sprinkle this to the hot oil.
- Using a slicer, thinly slice potatoes directly into hot oil. Deep-fry till crisp and lightly browned. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer both the wafers in different serving bowls, sprinkle salt and serve as required.
