Ingredients list for Plum Cake
- 1 cup Refined flour
- 3 tablespoons Brown sugar chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 tablespoons Walnuts chopped
- 1/2 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- a few drops Vanilla essence
- 3 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
Method
- Preheat the oven to 160° C. Grease a Wonderchef Pop Round Cake Pan. Sieve the flour along with baking powder into a bowl. Add the walnuts and raisins and mix.
- Cream the butter and brown sugar with the vanilla essence in another bowl. Add the eggs and lemon zest, mixing continuously. Fold in sieved flour and mix.
- Pour the cake batter into the greased Wonderchef Pop Round Cake Pan and bake in the preheated oven for fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove from oven and turn onto a rack to cool.
- Slice and serve.
