Ingredients
- 1 raw banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 coconut, scraped
- 1 large onion,roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
Method
- Peel, slice and cut raw banana into four pieces.
- Grind the coconut, onion, fennel seeds and red chili powder into fine paste with sufficient water and add salt to it.
- Marinate the raw banana with the prepared paste for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Place the banana slices and shallow fry till golden brown and crisp.
- Serve hot.
