Ingredients list for Phodnichi Bhakri

  • 4 Jawari Bhakri, Bajra Bhakri
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 Green chillies slit
  • 1/4 Scraped coconut
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped

  1. Crush the left over jawar bhakri or bajari bhakri. Roast peanuts. Cool and remove the skin. Grind it into a coarse powder. Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds.
  2. When the seeds begin to splutter, add onions and green chillies and sauté for two minutes. Add the crushed bhakri and roasted peanut powder. Season with salt.
  3. Finally add coconut and coriander leaves. Mix lightly and serve hot.
