Ingredients list for Pethe Jo Seero
- 1 kilogram Red Pumpkin grated
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- a few strands Saffron (kesar) soaked in one tablespoon warm milk
- 5 cups Milk
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 8-10 Almonds sliced
Method
- Squeeze out water from the grated pumpkin.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated pumpkin and cook on medium heat till ghee starts separating.
- Add green cardamom powder, saffron and milk and cook till the milk dries up.
- Add sugar and cook till the sugar gets dissolved.
- Serve hot garnished with sliced almonds.
