Ingredients 

  • 3 teaspoons peri-peri masala powder
  • 2 cups sweet corn kernels
  • Salt to taste 
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour/cornstarch
  • Oil to deep fry 

Method

  1. Boil sufficient water in a deep pan, add salt and sweetcorn kernels and cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain them and put them into a bowl. Refrigerate till chilled.
  2. Add cornflour to the boiled corn and mix well.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep-fry the corn kernels till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Transfer the fried corn into a jar, add peri-peri masala powder, cover the jar with a lid and shake well.
  5. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
