Ingredients
- 3 teaspoons peri-peri masala powder
- 2 cups sweet corn kernels
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cornflour/cornstarch
- Oil to deep fry
Method
- Boil sufficient water in a deep pan, add salt and sweetcorn kernels and cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain them and put them into a bowl. Refrigerate till chilled.
- Add cornflour to the boiled corn and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep-fry the corn kernels till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Transfer the fried corn into a jar, add peri-peri masala powder, cover the jar with a lid and shake well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
